Join the effort

Making a financial donation makes a big difference. This film and all the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness’ work on sulfide mining is supported by people like you who share our values of clean water and stewardship of our resources for future generations.

Contributions in any amount are very helpful:

  • $10 is enough to produce two DVDs and resource packets and mail them to people who will show “Precious Waters” to their friends, club or organization.
  • $25 helps us organize a letter-writing campaign.
  • $50 sends a staff member to present the film and discuss the issue with concerned citizens.
  • $100 goes a long way toward compensating expert scientists and engineers who help us analyze mine proposals and provide substantive comments to government agencies and educate citizens about the very real potential impacts of sulfide mining.
